​Kristopher Kyle is an Associate Professor of Linguistics and Director of the Learner Corpus Research and Applied Data Science Lab at the University of Oregon.

His research interests include corpus linguistics, second language writing, computational linguistics, second language assessment, and second language development.

Scott Crossley is a Professor in the Department of Special Education and the Data Science Institute at Vanderbilt University.

His primary research focus is on natural language processing and the application of computational tools and machine learning algorithms in language learning, writing, and text comprehensibility.
